Pianist en componist Sjoerd van Eijck verkent samen met cellist Jörg Brinkmann en drummer Jarle Vespestad de kosmos in een intiem trio. De samenwerking ontstond in 2019 en leidde tot het album Pegasus, een suite geïnspireerd door astronomie. De bezetting van piano, cello en drums creëert een uniek geluid op het snijvlak van jazz, kamermuziek en hedendaagse improvisatie. Van Eijcks verfijnde toucher en rijke kleurenpalet vormen het hart van dit muzikale gesprek.
