PIA
A slow-burn electronic night.
PIA is a live dance and music experience created by choreographer Katya Bourvis in collaboration with producer Tala Lee-Turton and composer Hannah Peel. The performance features a seventeen-piece brass band performing Peel's acclaimed record 'Mary Casio: Journey To Cassiopeia'. The narrative explores memory and imagination through the life of a Barnsley woman named Pia across three generations, blending the reality of her hometown's collieries with dreams of space travel.
