Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw joins forces with the Grammy-winning Attacca Quartet for an evening that bridges musical history with contemporary experimentation. Shaw performs a selection of songs from her diverse repertoire, showcasing her unique ability to blend genres and mediums. The program also features the UK premiere of John Adams' latest work, 'Iron Jig', written in celebration of his 80th birthday. The concert concludes with a performance of Mendelssohn’s String Quintet No. 2 in B-flat major, featuring Shaw on viola.
