Massa Dembele is a songwriter, griot, and master of the Kamele N’goni, the West African "harp of youth." Born into a family of traditional storytellers in Burkina Faso, he integrates Mandingo vocal traditions with contemporary global sounds. Currently based between Hamburg and Konstanz, his music creates a dialogue between West African heritage and modern influences. His 2026 album "Falatô" explores themes of migration and belonging through a blend of Afrobeat, desert blues, jazz, and soul. His performance is part of the DURCHLÜFTEN festival series at the Humboldt Forum.
