The New York City Chapter of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians marks the organization's 61st anniversary with a special evening of creative music and improvisation. Night one showcases two distinct ensembles: JD Parran & Spirit Stage 3 featuring Christopher Dean Sullivan, Alexis Marcelo, and Michael T A Thompson, alongside composer-pianist Adegoke Steve Colson and composer-vocalist Iqua Colson leading a quintet with Steven Bernstein, Luke Stewart, and Chris Beck.
