An underground, raw free jazz night.
Emerging from the world of their ongoing COIN COIN project, composer, saxophonist, and sound experimentalist Matana Roberts presents a new live solo performance piece moving between memory, imagination, and lived experience. The work follows association rather than chronology, using language, gesture, silence, humor, and chance as a celebratory postscript to the COIN COIN lineage.
