Known for pushing vocal music beyond conventional choral singing with techniques like throat singing and yodelling, the ensemble joins Kahane to explore a series of connected stories built around nine characters moving through an interdimensional hotel. Paraphrasing pop and chamber music, the performance highlights the emotional precision of Kahane's writing carried entirely by the human voice.
