London-based eight-piece ensemble Ankora performs as part of the Generation Jazz 2.0 series. Developed through the Tomorrow’s Warriors development programme under drummer and composer Romarna Campbell, the band combines original music with interpretations of classic and modern jazz, drawing inspiration from Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, and Esperanza Spalding.
