Pianiste Olga Pashchenko en uitvoeringsspecialist Jed Wentz presenteren een nieuwe pianoscore bij Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau’s meesterwerk Faust uit 1926. De legende over de alchemist die een pact met de duivel sluit, wordt op het witte doek tot leven gewekt met baanbrekende speciale effecten en legendarische acteurs Gösta Ekman en Emil Jannings. De muzikale begeleiding bestaat uit een zorgvuldig samengestelde compilatie van pianostukken van componisten als Bach, Busoni, Fauré en Liszt, die naadloos aansluiten bij de filmbeelden.
