Amon Amarth is a Swedish melodic death metal band known for their themes of Viking history and mythology. Formed in 1992, the group evolved from the grindcore act Scum to create a dark, dream-like soundscape influenced by bands like In Flames and At the Gates. Over more than three decades, they have released numerous critically acclaimed albums such as 'Twilight of the Thunder Gods' and 'Deceiver of the Gods', securing a massive international following and chart success worldwide. Supporting them is Soilwork, a respected melodic death metal band from Helsingborg, Sweden. Since their formation in 1995, they have released nine studio albums and became vital figures in the extreme metal scene alongside bands like In Flames and Arch Enemy. The lineup is completed by the modern metal force Orbit Culture.
