Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra - René Barbera

Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra

A nostalgic contemporary classical night.

7:30 PM - 7:30 PM
St. Paul's Cathedral

St. Paul's Churchyard, London EC4M 8AD

The Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra presents a powerful performance of Verdi’s Requiem at the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral. One of the greatest memorial works of art, the Requiem is performed alongside the UK premiere of Gloria, a new piece by acclaimed Ukrainian composer Bohdana Frolyak. Formed in 2022 by conductor Keri-Lynn Wilson in response to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the orchestra serves as a symbol of resilience and a testament to a culture that will not be silenced. For this special concert, the orchestra is joined by the Philharmonia Chorus and an exceptional quartet of international soloists.
