Pianist and composer Avishai Darash launches a four-month residency at Contra with his trio, featuring bassist Omer Govreen and drummer Joe Blaxx. Presenting their Heart-Bop project, the ensemble blends classic 1950s and 60s hard bop traditions with modern groove, interaction, and original compositions.
