As part of a four-month residency at Contra, pianist and composer Avishai Darash performs alongside drummer Joe Blaxx and bassist Omer Govreen. Presenting their Heart-Bop project, the trio interprets 1950s and 60s hard bop with a modern sensibility, emphasizing dynamic groove, collective interaction, and original compositions.
