Hailing from Montreal, singer-songwriter Ruby McKinnon has evolved from a bedroom artist into one of Canada's most significant young voices over the last decade. Performing under the name Flower Face, she blends DIY experimentation with a bittersweet mix of indie-folk, dream-pop, and dark ballads. After establishing her atmospheric sound with early albums like Fever Dreams and Baby Teeth, she achieved her international breakthrough with the lushly arranged 2022 record The Shark in Your Water. Often compared to artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Angel Olsen, her latest work Girl Prometheus showcases a vulnerable range from intimate acoustic moments to epic highs. This November, she brings her discography to Berlin for a special live performance.
