American-born but British educated, saxophonist Dan Reinstein first began playing at the old 606 Club on Kings Road when he was a medical undergraduate. After attending the Berklee School of Music, he became an even more remarkable performer. While he is also known as a leading expert in laser eye surgery, he has never stopped performing. Dan and his quartet have been staples at the 606 Club for 23 years, delivering fluent, classic hard-bop with a muscular sax style. Their repertoire features beloved jazz standards from the 1950s through the 90s, covering legends like Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, and Horace Silver.
