Returning to the Palau after a three-year artistic residency, Trio Fortuny is joined by clarinettist Cristina Mateo Sáez to perform Olivier Messiaen’s seminal Quartet for the End of Time, composed and premiered during his imprisonment in a WWII camp. The programme also highlights Arvo Pärt’s Fratres, uniting two visionary composers noted for profound spirituality, contemplation, and transcendence.
