Steve Ray Ladson is a multi-talented musician and songwriter from South Carolina, USA, who has emerged as one of the most compelling voices in blues, roots and country music. Ladson is a vocalist, producer, songwriter, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist, whose musical talents include banjo, guitar, piano, Hammond organ, bass, accordion, spoons, and the harmonica. He has played a key role in the success of 6-time Grammy Award winners and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winners, The Blind Boys of Alabama, as well as playing with 4-time Grammy nominee Robert Randolph and the Family Band. He is now setting out on his own musical journey, bringing his own musical genre entitled ‘Blackgrass Brothercana’ to light, with the mission to keep the blues, funk and rock n roll alive.
