The Hidden Cameras is the creative project of Canadian, Berlin-based artist Joel Gibb. While often performing with a full ensemble, this event features Gibb in an intimate solo setting at the Luftschloss. The performance will span the project's extensive catalog while debuting new electronic and dance tracks from the album BRONTO. Produced with collaborator Nicolas Sierig, BRONTO is a meta-dance-pop tribute to Berlin's history of community and resistance. Gibb, who has been a pioneer in translating gay love into pop music for 25 years, continues to push boundaries with this seventh studio album, blending his 'gay folk church music' roots with modern electronic sounds.
The event features a solo performance by Joel Gibb, the artist behind the project The Hidden Cameras.
