The project is led by Jim Cornelissen (aka Creature.), a drummer, composer, and producer whose rhythm-led vibrations take elements from hip-hop, electronic, and jazz-funk culture. Every Friday and Saturday night, Ronnie Scott’s presents the Late Late Show, where some of the UK’s finest jazz talent takes to the stage for a late-night blowing session. The music includes a range of styles influenced by jazz-funk, soul, R&B, and hip hop, with DJ sets performed before and after the live music.
