A nostalgic, underground chamber music night.
Elena Urioste and Tom Poster explore the romantic repertoire with a performance featuring Croatian composer Dora Pejačević’s enchanting ‘Spring’ Sonata. The duo, celebrated for their poetic artistry, pairs this late-Romantic work with Dvořák’s sombre Nocturne and Brahms’s emotionally complex Third Violin Sonata. Pejačević’s music, which helped transform the musical landscape of her homeland, is presented here alongside established masterpieces of the violin and piano repertoire.
