About

David Bowie's art transformed pop into high art. With "David Bowie Symphony", an ambitious concert project celebrates the icon in a contemporary way: orchestral sound and rock band merge into an energetic live experience. The production is a symphonic expansion of singer Milan Devinne's show. Known for his vocal range, Devinne gives classics like "Space Oddity" and "Heroes" new radiance. The arrangements emphasize the dramatic power of the songs without changing their DNA. The project features an international team led by conductor Andrea Bonaldo. It includes guitarist Peter Pohl and sound engineer Helmut Scheiber. A special highlight is a short documentary shown before the show featuring exclusive voices from Bowie's inner circle, including photographer Richard Young and Bowie's friend Thierry Amsallem.
