Cardinals
Cardinals takes you into a grainy, monochrome dream where gritty rock-'n-roll and Irish musical tradition merge. Their shanty-like verses grow into compelling choruses full of dark love stories, delivered as intimate confessions. The sound is an eclectic mix of shoegaze, pop, folk, and poetic punk. The band is formed by family and friendship: brothers Euan and Finn Manning, their cousin Darragh, and former schoolmates Oskar Gudinovic and Aaron Hurley. Dressed in tracksuits, denim, and sunglasses, the band looks like a Warhol creation, but their music breathes both urban rawness and rural melancholy. Since their 2024 debut EP, the band has been considered one of the most exciting names in Irish indie rock.
