Japanese composer and pianist Midori Hirano presents a new live soundtrack to the 1990 arthouse film The Juniper Tree, which marked Björk's film debut. The performance features electronic textures, piano compositions, and ambient soundscapes in a sensitive dialogue with the poetic visual language of filmmaker Nietzchka Keene. This German premiere, part of the Heroines of Sound Festival, accompanies a restored 4K version of the film and includes an introduction by Wouter Vanhaelemeesch.
