Yurt Sessions — Verrassingsconcert
De Cello Yurt, een sfeervol buitenverblijf op het terras van het Muziekgebouw, vormt het decor voor een reeks intieme soloconcerten. Tijdens deze sessies presenteren diverse festivalcellisten een programma van ongeveer 45 minuten. Het unieke concept houdt in dat het publiek vooraf niet weet welke artiest of welk repertoire er ten gehore wordt gebracht. Van modern en jazz tot klassiek en pop, alles is mogelijk, behalve de cellosuites van Bach die gereserveerd zijn voor andere programmaonderdelen. Een verrassingselement dat de essentie van de Cello Biënnale Amsterdam vangt.
