Californian Savannah Gardner and her band of Recovering Good Girls bend the country music genre to their mighty will, blending soul, blues and gypsy jazz into a sound that is both unique and deeply rooted in tradition. Savannah is described as an electrifying live performer with one of the most distinctive voices around who connects deeply with her audiences. She has performed at major festivals including Glastonbury, The Long Road, Black Deer, and Red Rooster, and was nominated for the UK’s Americana Live Act of the Year Award in 2025. Savannah Gardner and her band continue to tour across the UK and Europe, delivering a dynamic and theatrical show that ranges from emotional ballads to high-energy dance parties. For this performance at The Water Rats, the core trio of Savannah Gardner (vocals/guitar), Riley Hare (bass), and Carmen Ruiz Vicente (drums) will be accompanied by long-time collaborators Duncan Menzies on fiddle and Holly Carter on pedal steel and electric guitar.
