A raw jazz night.
In this unique collaboration for the Cello Biënnale Amsterdam, three musical adventurers join forces with top cellist François Salque. Dutch harmonica player Hermine Deurloo, French accordionist Vincent Peirani, and English pianist Gwilym Simcock first met in London in 2024. Now, the addition of Salque brings a chamber music refinement to their lyrical jazz improvisations. The quartet explores a dimension where composed music and spontaneous dialogue strengthen each other, creating a unique performance specifically for the Biënnale.
The performance takes place on November 1, 2026, at BIMHUIS, located at Piet Heinkade 3 in Amsterdam.
