A nostalgic, slow-burn opera night.
Tenor Ian Bostridge and pianist Vadym Kholodenko perform a programme dedicated to the works of Robert Schumann. The performance explores the expressive extremes of the composer through a selection of solo piano masterworks paired with song settings, including Liederkreis and Waldszenen. The concert brings to life the poetic refinement and emotional scope of Schumann's alter egos, Florestan and Eusebius.
