Bobo Stenson is one of the leading figures in European jazz. The Swedish pianist helped establish the foundations of Scandinavian jazz in the 1970s through collaborations with the Jan Garbarek Bobo Stenson Quartet. He has since cultivated a unique musical language that bridges Scandinavian and American influences. Performing with longtime partners bassist Anders Jormin and drummer Jon Fält, the trio is celebrated for their telepathic synergy and meticulously crafted improvisations, as showcased on their ECM album Sphere.
