Life in a Beat does not take advantage of a very good performance by Elina Tsiorbatzi. The film meanders along and does not land very deeply. This isn’t to say the characters are not interesting. But the story felt fairly routine and surface level only. This landed close but ultimately was a missed opportunity for something greater, something deeper.
