REEDLAND is a restrained Dutch thriller & introspective character study centered on an elderly farmer who discovers a dead body on his land and begins his own quiet investigation. Gerrit Knobbe delivers a compelling performance, and the film maintains a captivating sense of tension & atmosphere throughout. However, its sluggish pacing & sparse narrative developments ultimately make for an experience that feels more inert than intriguing.Check out our full review on Next Best Picture here
