Koyo Bloom

Koyo Bloom, formerly known as KOYO, are a rock band blending alternative, psychedelic and progressive rock. Alumni of Leeds Conservatoire, they became a key part of Leeds’ thriving music scene. Following their dynamic live performances, the band opened the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds Festivals, alongside appearances at Download, Rockaway Beach, Live at Leeds, Ramblin’ Man, Camden Rocks, Sheffield Tramlines and Bingley Weekender. Their self-titled debut album received widespread acclaim, featuring in end-of-year lists from Classic Rock, PROG and Louder Than War. They followed this with You Said It, produced by Mike Horner (Hot Chip, Franz Ferdinand), earning further press support and airplay from BBC 6 Music, Radio X, Absolute Radio and more. Their third album, Onism, was completed through a successful Kickstarter campaign, selected as a “Project We Love”. After two successful DIY UK tours, the band released their fourth album, Distance, in 2026 before announcing an indefinite hiatus. Described by the band as their “most summery album yet” and by Louder Than War as a “swan song”, Distance serves as a parting gift to fans and a celebration of a decade-long journey.
