Dimitris Konstantakis, better known by his stage name Mauros Amnos, was born and raised in 1989 in Heraklion, Crete. He has been involved in rap music since he can remember himself, and more specifically since 1999 when he was at the age of 10. Influenced by the European and American rap scene more specifically The Psycho Realm, Big L, Cypress Hill , Wu-Tang Clan and many more international and greek artists. Mauros Amnos was a founding member of the rap music group Vromikos Notos, which was the first and the most important independent label in Crete and achieved to establish the undergound rap culture on the island, Also he released two mixtapes with Propator as a duo named Mauri fara. After that he created the independent rap label The Art Of Raw, with the producer Monos Akoma and Dj Slander, which has collaborated with many artists. He has collaborated with some of the biggest names of the Greek rap scene such as MC Yinka, Detro, Nikolas Razastarr, TAF LATHOS, ΔΠΘ, Agnwstos Xeimwnas, Obnoxious Kas, Loopatic and more. Mauros Amnos has participated in many concerts both in Crete and other places of Greece.
