A nostalgic alternative rock night.
British quartet South Arcade from Oxford has created a radical hybrid that pulverizes all genre boundaries. Singer Harmony Cavelle and guitarist Harry Winks, who have known each other since childhood, formed the band in 2022 after meeting bassist Ollie Green and drummer Cody Jones. Their sound, which they call 'Y2K Core', is a high-speed time travel through the late nineties and early 2000s, blending heavy riffs reminiscent of Linkin Park with infectious pop hooks inspired by artists like Avril Lavigne and Britney Spears. Hits like 'DANGER' and '2005' have already gained millions of streams, but their true power is felt during their high-energy live shows.
