About

İÇ İÇE – "intertwined" or "interwoven" in Turkish – is the first and only festival in Germany dedicated to new Anatolian music and post-migrant perspectives. The Anatolian region has always been a melting pot of diverse cultural currents and musical traditions. İÇ İÇE showcases artists who reinterpret cultural fragments of their identities, claiming space through an exciting program of music, performances, dance, workshops, and discussion panels. Founded by Melissa Kolukisagil, the festival creates spaces for celebration and empowerment through music and art, beyond the expectations of dominant society.
