In dit speciaal voor de Cello Biënnale gemaakte programma rekken cellist Benjamin Glorieux, pianist/componist Rembrandt Frerichs, slagwerker Vinsent Planjer en acteur/zanger Frans van Deursen de grenzen van de werkelijkheid op. Dwalend door de unieke wereld van de Japanse schrijver Haruki Murakami brengen zij een caleidoscopisch concert vol sprekende katten, kwijnende liefdeskoppels, visregens en een eenzame cello op zoek naar zijn andere helft. Het programma combineert muziek van Rembrandt Frerichs met teksten van Frans van Deursen om de surrealistische sfeer van Murakami's oeuvre tot leven te wekken.
