Alena Baeva, Kyril Zlotnikov, and Vadym Kholodenko: Bruch, Mozart and Schubert - Vadym Kholodenko

Alena Baeva, Kyril Zlotnikov & Vadym Kholodenko

A raw, nostalgic chamber music night.

7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Wigmore Hall

36 Wigmore St, London W1U 2BP

Three exceptionally fine piano trio partners offer a richly flavoured banquet of pieces in the first half of their programme before entering the infinitely broad imaginative world of Schubert’s Piano Trio in E flat, complete with the introspective agitation of its exalted slow movement and vast sweep of a finale that begins with the most innocent of ideas and expands to encompass every shade of emotion. The programme features Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Piano Trio No. 2 in G, Max Bruch's 8 pieces Op. 83 (arranged for violin, cello and piano), and Franz Schubert's Piano Trio No. 2 in E flat.
