An underground, slow-burn electroacoustic night.
Explore Ensemble explores contemporary soundscapes with the world premiere of Beatrice Dillon’s album Where Never. The performance features music where sounds fragment into circling states of constant reorientation. Alongside the premiere, the ensemble performs Dillon’s Seven Reorganisations, marked by a shift from system-based electronic music to fluid, unstable instrumentation. The programme is rounded out by Helmut Lachenmann’s percussive piano work Guero and Pascale Criton’s microtonal guitar duo Trans, which destabilises pitch through mesmeric interference patterns.
