Equally at home in a jazz club or a nightclub, Sonedo has earned support from Jamz Supernova and Gilles Peterson on BBC Radio 6 Music. Having completed his studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, he is emerging as a distinctive new presence in UK jazz, drawing influence from Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, and modern innovators like Alfa Mist and Yussef Dayes.
