Horrible Science: The Big Bang Proms Experiment (Matinee) - BBC National Orchestra Of Wales

Horrible Science: The Big Bang Proms Experiment

An uplifting, nostalgic orchestral night.

2:00 PM
Royal Albert Hall

Kensington Gore, South Kensington, London SW7 2AP, UK

Join Albert Einstein and Marie Curie as they share the DNA of CBBC’s hit comedy sketch show Horrible Science live at the Royal Albert Hall with some scientifically proven bangers from the classical canon. They’ll be joined by some of the great characters from science to introduce sensational sounds from Holst’s The Planets to John Williams’s Star Wars. The performance explores whether the Prom can survive Dr Big Brain’s devilish desire to conquer the universe. Part of the BBC Proms series, the programme includes classical works by Borodin, Holst, and Williams.
